He stressed that the Russian Federation should be "forced to diplomacy" and, if Moscow does not agree to the diplomatic resolution of the war, the introduction of "truly strong sanctions" is necessary.

"We believe that we need to do everything so that Russia cannot continue to hide from meetings," Zelensky said, expressing his gratitude for his willingness to help the US and the coalition of those who want to help. He also said that he had a long conversation with US President Donald Trump and other diplomatic partners. The leader stressed that he had no agreement with the Russians - only with Washington. According to him, Trump is now the only person able to stop Putin.

"We agreed to go correctly into the diplomatic direction. I supported this direction that President Trump suggested He stressed that it was advisable to organize a tripartite meeting immediately, but Ukraine did not set any conditions that could be used as obstacles to the end of the war. Kyiv is ready for bilateral negotiations before trilateral.
