With tuberculosis and HIV: in Ukraine simplified the conscription to the Armed Forces of limited suitable men

The Defense Ministry has updated a list of diseases to assess fitness. Now the doors of patients with hepatitis, anemia, as well as people with moderate disorders of the psyche are opened in the army. Ukraine has approved a new list of diseases that will determine suitability. Passing military service for limited suitable also arranged, writes Ukrainian Military Pages, citing a changed decree of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Amendments to the Regulations on Military Medical Expertise in the Armed Forces were made by the Defense Ministry of August 18, 2023 No. 490, and they came into force on August 25. On the same day, other changes began to operate, simplifying the requirements for service in the assault troops and the Marines in a special period. The Ministry has fully updated the list of diseases for the assessment of the suitability of servicemen and detailed the order of service for restricted.

The order clarifies the procedure for adopting a resolution of the VLK on the causal connection of the disease, injury (injury, injury, injury) with military service and protection of the country. The main one of the Decree of the Ministry of Defense: together with the resolution on limited suitability for the military service of the VLK, it is necessary to adopt a decision on the suitability of a serviceman in service in a specific military specialty.

If the serviceman is recognized as unfit for specialty, the commander of the unit may send him to the VLK to determine her suitability in a new specialty. People with such diseases are considered suitable for the service: recall that the Ukrainian authorities consider it an appropriate idea to mobilize men who receive a second higher education to the Armed Forces. So far, men from 25 years of age who study in the universities in day and dual forms do not call to the army.
