Thanks to the evidence base of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the real term of imprisonment was received by the informant of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (known as the GRU).

The attacker corrected Russian rocket-artillery strikes in the places of mass gathering of people in Kharkiv. This was reported by the SBU. According to law enforcement officers, it was by his "guidance" that last year the invaders fired at the local Barabashovo market, which is the largest trade institution of Ukraine. In addition, the SBU found that the traitor was collecting intelligence on the location of the defense forces in the territory of the regional center.

"He was most interested in the locations of the fortifications and the routes of the movement of units of the Ukrainian troops in the direction of the Eastern Front," the message said. Security staff detained the attacker in August 2022 during countertops in Kharkiv. According to the materials of the Ukrainian special service, the court appointed him 12 years in prison.

The investigation found that the convicted person - a local resident who, after the start of a full -scale invasion of the Russian Federation, "poured" into the Russian bot on Telegram information about the dislocation and movement of the Armed Forces. Thus, he got into the field of view of Russian military intelligence, which later remotely attracted him to cooperate in favor of the aggressor country.

On the basis of the evidence collected, the court found the attacker guilty under Part 3 of Art. 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unauthorized dissemination of information about the direction, movement of weapons, weapons and ammunition to Ukraine, movement, movement or placement of the Armed Forces). "The investigation was conducted by SBU staff in Kharkiv region under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor's office," - added in the message.
