Ukrainian hackers have installed the coordinates of the Russian military base near the temporarily captured Melitopol according to photographs, using fake accounts on social networks. The IT specialist and founder of Hackyourmom Nikita Knysh (before the full-scale war headed HackControl) told about it in an interview with Financial Times, published on Sunday, September 4.

Video of the day, according to him, hackers used fake profiles of attractive women on Facebook and Russian social networks and deceived the occupiers to send them photos that were later geolotoned and sent to the Ukrainian military. In a few days the base was destroyed by Ukrainian artillery.

Hackers from Hackyourmom also broke thousands of video surveillance cameras in Belarus and in temporarily captured Ukrainian territories and wrote a code that allowed us to separate ordinary traffic from the movement of military equipment and data was transmitted to servicemen. They still watch the broken cameras and share with FT a recent image of a Russian warship at the port of occupied Sevastopol.
