The Russian soldiers have previously used this drone-Kamikadze in the occupied territory of Donetsk region, where they tested it. The Russian media reports that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation allegedly destroyed the observation post of Ukrainian fighters in the Avdiivka area with the help of a new drone "Ovod". In particular, with reference to its own sources in the army, such information was published by RIA Novosti on Tuesday, July 4.

The Officer of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation from the first Army Corps of the Group of the South troops, the name and title of which the journalists did not name, told them how "Ovod" hit the Armed Forces surveillance. According to him, at first, the operators of the first building released a quadcopter-reconnaissance who photographed the target. The invaders were then used by FPV "Ovod". Dron Kamikadze used the coordinates of the drone-reconnaissance and struck the target.
