Served every three days: the causes of the disaster with water on the occupied Donbass are named

To spread: in the occupied areas of Donetsk region there is an acute shortage of water, the occupying power has already introduced limits of delivery - 45 liters a day per person. The critical situation with water supply is observed in Donetsk and Makeevka, said the head of the "Petro Andryushchenko Occupation" Center on the air "Public Radio". Problems with water supply are traced in all occupied territories of Ukraine, including Lugansk, Zaporizhia, Kherson regions and Crimea, he said.

In Mariupol, the problem is not so acute, there is switched off for political reasons. But the worst in the north of Donetsk region, where limits were already introduced - 45 liters of water a day per person, he added. Water is served only four hours every three days, but it simply does not have it in part of the Donetsk districts. It leaves better and water quality, which cannot be called even technical.

The critical situation with water in the occupied territories of Donbass has been formed for several reasons. The first is the destruction of the Siversky Donets Channel, the Center's head notes. In addition, there is little rainfall in the summer and the population increases in cities by moving Russians. Because of this, water consumption increases. In Mariupol, they saved water and tried to solve the problem before the Russian occupation. However, the reserve reservoirs in Donetsk quickly empty.

Andryushchenko also recalled that the invaders deliberately destroyed the water supply so that it was easier to capture Slavyansk and Kramatorsk in the future by forcing the Siverskyi Donets River. The head of the organization said that recently the residents of one of the neighborhoods of Makeevka summoned representatives of the occupying power to explain when solving problems with water. But instead, the so -called "police" came to them and dispersed them.
