Children's Ombudsman of the Russian Federation illegally adopted a Ukrainian child from Mariupol
The Russian woman told about it at a press conference on October 26, reports the propaganda TV channel RT. "I saw my son when evacuated [evacuation in the Russian Federation is called the illegal deportation of Ukrainians from the occupied territories] from Mariupol a group of 31 children," Lviv-Belova commented. According to her, almost two thousand Ukrainian children from shelters and orphanages were taken out of the occupied territories of Ukraine.
Recall that not all children in social institutions are orphans. According to 2017, 92% of children in boarding schools had parents. She confessed to the fact that she took the boy from Mariupol in the family of a boy from Mariupol in September. She then stated that Russia had taken to the Moscow region 30 children who were "found in the basements of" occupied and destroyed by the Russians of the city.
At the same time, Lviv-Belova confirmed that Ukraine demands to return children to their home country. Thus, the Russian representatives were addressed by Viceremier of Ukraine Irina Vereshchuk and invited children, as there are families in Ukraine who are ready to accept them. However, the Russian Ombudswoman stated that none of the children exported allegedly wanted to return home.
On August 23, the Krasnodar Family and Childhood Department reported that more than a thousand Ukrainian children exported from the occupied Mariupol were "adopted" in Russia. Subsequently, the information from the official site disappeared, but the media managed to spread this data. On October 5, the head of the occupation administration of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov said that about 5 thousand children will be brought to the peninsula from the captured Kherson region.
