I sang "I Russian" in Mariupol and Lugansk: SBU declared suspicion of Russian singer "Shaman"

To spread: Russian singer-propagandist Shaman regularly provides concerts in support of the Kremlin regime and war against Ukraine. He has repeatedly performed in the temporarily occupied territories. The Security Service of Ukraine in absentia has reported suspicion to a 33-year-old Russian propagandist singer with Shaman's pseudonym (real name-Yaroslav Dronov).

According to the investigation, the singer "Shaman" publicly supports the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and spreads Kremlin propaganda, the press service of the department reports. It is noted that the SHAMAN executor is under the control of the Kremlin, publicly supports the actions of the Russian authorities and glorifies persons involved in the war against Ukraine.

The SBU reports that the singer regularly performs concerts and mass actions in support of occupation groups and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. The Russian artist was informed in absentia of suspicion under Part 3 of Art.

436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: denial of temporary occupation of part of the territory of Ukraine, recognition of legitimate armed aggression against Ukraine, started in 2014, as well as the glorification of representatives of the armed units of the Russian Federation committed by the use of media. The article provides restriction or imprisonment for up to five years. "Complex measures are currently underway to bring a propagandist Rashism to justice," the SBU noted.

At the end of 2022, singer Shaman recorded a video address to support the Russian army, which participates in the invasion of Ukraine. In January 2023, he performed at concerts in support of Putin's regime in Mariupol and Lugansk, and in February visited the temporarily captured parts of the territory of the Left Bank of Kherson region. In April 2023, Shaman released a Z-patriotic video for the song "Me".

In it, he sang on Red Square in Moscow with a German National Socialist Party-style bandage in the colors of the Russian flag. Russian propagandists accused Dronov of "cosples" by Hitler's supporters. On November 4, 2023, Shaman pressed the "Red button" in a suitcase at a concert while performing the song "I'm Russian". In March 2024, Shaman became angry with the Russians, releasing a clip about a terrorist attack in Crocus. Countrymen accused him of Hippy on the tragedy.
