No analogues: Armed Forces destroyed Russian Thor's SCR for $ 60 million

During the day, the Ukrainian military struck 49 units of military equipment of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and eliminated 460 invaders, told in command. Units of missile troops and artillery from the "Tavriya" were destroyed by the Russian anti-aircraft missile complex "Thor". This was reported by the brigade general. Oleksandr Tarnavsky, commander of the operational-strategic group "Tavriya" in his Telegram.

"Units of missile troops and artillery from the warehouse of" Tavriya "have completed 1056 fire tasks during the day," said Alexander Tarnavsky. He noted that the Ukrainian military destroyed 49 units of military equipment, namely the TOR, 13 tanks, nine BBMs, ten artillery systems, nine unmanned aircraft, six cars and special equipment. In addition, the Armed Forces were struck by three ammunition compositions of the invaders. Also, 460 Russian soldiers were eliminated per day.

Oleksandr Tarnavsky stressed that two Russian self -propelled mortars 2C4 "tulip" 240 mm caliber, the purpose of which - the defeat of fortified fortifications, were also destroyed. According to him, during the day, Russian invaders caused 16 air strikes, conducted 47 combat clashes and made 763 artillery shelling. Instead, the Ukrainian military keeping defense in the Avdeevsky direction, and on October 25, the Armed Forces reflected 15 Russian attacks.

Also unsuccessful were the offensive actions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the areas of Stepov, Avdiivka, thin and Severny. The Armed Forces also conduct offensive operations in the Melitopol direction. The TORA has a small radius of action. He has two radars, one of which is designed to capture goals and the other for tracking and defeat. There can be up to eight rockets on board. It can work in manual, with the participation of operators, and automatic modes.

"Thor" has no analogues in the world and is intended for air defense of motorized and tank divisions. It is also used to protect command points of communication units, radio equipment, bridges, aerodromes from strokes of high-precision weapons, controlled and anti-radiolocating missiles, managed aircraft, aircraft, helicopters, winged missiles and remote-piloted aircraft. The range of SCR lesions is 27 kilometers, while the lesion area - from one to 12 kilometers.

It can simultaneously identify 48 goals and affect them at a speed of 700 m/s. The cost of the TORA is $ 60 million.
