Women's mobilization in September: who can be called up to the army and for what is threatening a fine
The focus found out whether the mobilization of women this fall was envisaged and under what conditions they could be fined for violations of military accounting. The mobilization of women in Ukraine remains exclusively voluntary. Even medical professionals cannot call service without their consent. According to the first article of the Law on Mobilization, the order of military registration in the fall remained unchanged.
Medical women are obliged to be on military registration, representatives of other professions can do it voluntarily. In September, medical women can receive penalties if they have not updated their data in the territorial centers of staff (TCC) between May 16 and July 16. The amount of the fine for non -recovery of data is similar to penalties for men and ranges from UAH 17 to 25 thousand. Women who have voluntarily expressed a desire to sign a military contract may refuse.
The reasons for the refusal are: the law also eliminates conscript service and introduces basic military training for men aged 18 to 25 years. Women can be voluntarily trained. Military accounting is mandatory for women who receive medical education. This applies to the following specialties: however, taking women on military registration does not mean automatic mobilization.
This is necessary for the General Staff to have an accurate idea of the number of healthcare professionals in the reserve. According to the State Border Service, medical women who are on military registration can go abroad. The prohibition on the crossing of the border applies only to women who are already servicemen and civil servants.
