US and Turkey are negotiating a new system of sanctions against Russia - the media

Journalists learned that officials in Washington and Ankari discussed the procedure for compliance with sanctions against the Russian Federation. After Turkey, additional measures will be taken as needed as needed. Between the United States and Turkey, an agreement on a new system of compliance and new anti -Russian sanctions was reached. This is discussed in the material of the Turkish edition of Hürriyet.

According to the media, the topic of discussion of US and Russian officials was the procedure for compliance with the sanction regime against Russia. In particular, Washington imposes restrictions on companies that have not stopped commercial activity with the Russian Federation. However, the United States did not conduct any detailed investigations along with Turkey regarding this. Journalists emphasize that this has led to various economic problems.

The two countries have reached an agreement on a new system called "Scheme of Sanctions". It assumes that the United States initially inform Turkey about potential companies and request information on this issue. After Turkey, additional measures will be taken as needed as needed.

Due to the threats of US authorities on the use of sanctions on financial companies that did not give up business with Russia, the volume of trade between Turkey and the Russian Federation has sharply decreased, which led to slowing down some payments for both imported oil and Turkish exports. At the same time, the Turkish oil terminal "Dortiol" will not accept Russian imports in the Mediterranean because of increased sanction pressure from the United States.

At the same time, Ankara wants to improve his military relations with the United States, so he is already partially complying with financial sanctions on the Russian Federation. It should be reminded that on February 24 it became known that the head of the White House Joe Biden, because of fears for the state of the US and world economy, does not impose powerful sanctions against the Russian Federation.
