Together with the heads of Afghanistan and Myanmar: Putin was not invited to the coronation of Charles III - the media

The invitation to the coronation ceremony was sent to high -ranking diplomats in North Korea and Nicaragua. The UK did not invite Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to the coronation of Charles III, which will take place on May 6. About it reports Reuters. London did not send an invitation to the coronation of King Charles III, the leaders of Russia, Belarus, Iran, Myanmar, Syria, Afghanistan and Venezuela, the British source reported on Tuesday.

According to the publication, the heads of states were invited to which the United Kingdom has full diplomatic relations, as well as representatives of the British kingdoms and overseas territories. The invitation was also sent to high -ranking diplomats, not the heads of state of North Korea and Nicaragua. It is worth noting that the Russian President would not be able to visit the Charles III coronation ceremony in the United Kingdom, even if he was invited.

The fact is that on March 17, the International Criminal Court (ICS) presented a warrant for his arrest. On the same day, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation stated that the court's decision did not have any importance for the Russian Federation either in the political or in the legal plane. The Russian Federation is not the signator of the Roman MCC Roman Statute and does not cooperate with it.

Thus, the country does not have any obligations in case of failure to comply with the prescriptions of this body. However, the Russian dictator has to refuse foreign trips. For example, on May 1, Sunday Times reported that South Africa representatives were negotiating with the Russian leadership on the presence of Vladimir Putin at the BRICS Summit, which will be held in Johannesburg in August.

Putin's arrest warrant put the country's power before executing the decision of the International Court of Justice. "The only option we have is to connect through Teams or Zoom from Moscow," said a high -ranking source of the publication.

We will remind, on March 18, the former Judge of the ISS Volodymyr Vasylenko told that the warrant obliges Vladimir Putin to appear in the Hague court for testimony, but if the president does not do it, then Interpol will declare him on the international wanted list. After that, the head of state can be delayed in any country, which is a party to the Roman Regulations of the ISS.
