In the Russian Federation contrary to sanctions, a military plant is built on Western equipment - Informnampalm (photo)
How the Russian enterprise has set up the production of components for its fighters, using Western equipment is referred to in the InformNapalm investigation. According to the newspaper The Telegraph and Volunteers from InformNapalm, the production of key nodes for the SU-57, including the MPU-50 module, is impossible without Western components, the supply of which, despite sanctions, continue. Experts say that even through bypass schemes, Russia continues to receive the necessary details.
An example is Plaar, which through a branch in the United States supplied electronics for "Microplas". The authors of the publication report that information on the technical characteristics of the equipment used by "Microplate" was collected by activists of the Cyberoprir group in cooperation with a private intelligence company Dallas.
These data show that the Russian industry, contrary to the stated goals, is still based on imported technologies, especially for the release of "priority weapons". In 2022, the analytical document shows that much of the plant equipment, including mechanical and assembly, foreign production. For example, up to 62% of imported equipment, including machine tools from Germany, Taiwan and other countries, uses in a mechanical shop.
The latest machines, such as Taiwanese MCV-300 and German Alzmetall, continue to enter the factory despite sanctions. Thus, the main foreign suppliers of "micro-appliances" are: contracts are concluded through Russian companies, such as "Kama-GRUPP" and "DM Technology", which helps to hide the real origin of the equipment. In this case, calculations with Russian firms are often made in Yuan, which indicates the active participation of Chinese mediators.
"Why is this happening? The investigators of The Insider's project explained this based on Russian customs data. In short, all the machines are imported from China, and in Russia they are marked only by the DMT brand," the material reads. Documents and investigations show that Russia is difficult to complete the course for full import substitution. To date, much of the latest Su-57 equipment is coming from abroad.
For example, a CNC Kle 360, formally Chinese production, contains components from Germany and Taiwan. Moreover, many foreign companies, such as Blum-Novotest, still have branches in Russia, which simplifies the purchase and maintenance of equipment. Finally, the authors of the investigation emphasized that US sanctions were imposed against DM Technologies LLC in December 2023.
However, there was no information about whether any restrictions were introduced and there was pressure on the company counterparties in China. "And most importantly, companies from other jurisdictions, such as Taiwan or Germany, still have no clear obligations to ask additional information about end -consumers of their products. Companies are not responsible for the delivery of their goods to Russia.
