Poland sends a military attaché of Belarus - the Foreign Ministry of the Country

Polish journalists stated that Belarus had sent three Polish diplomats, including an officer of the border service. Poland is about to send a military attaché to Belarus. This was stated by the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lukash Yasin, writes the Polish print agency.

Journalists noted that on February 17, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus introduced new restrictions for Polish cargo, which can only cross the Polish-Belarusian border and can no longer use border crossings of Belarus with Latvia and Lithuania. In addition, as stated in the material, Belarus sent three Polish diplomats, including an officer of communication of the border service. It happened after Poland closed one of the two border crossing points.

The publication also reminded that the head of the Polish Ministry of Internal Affairs Mariusz Kaminsky announced the closure of the border crossing point on February 9 after the Belarusian court condemned Andzeya of the Belarusian journalist and activist of the independent Union of Poles Belarus for up to 8 years in prison. He was accused of inflamed national hatred. It is reported that the reason was arrested in March 2021. He has been imprisoned since then.

The European Parliament recognized him as political inmates. Earlier, the Polish Defense Ministry stated that the country began to build fortifications on borders with Russia and Belarus. According to Minister Mariusz Blaschak, the first defensive structures have already begun to be erected on the border with the Kaliningrad region of the Russian Federation. The Polish Foreign Ministry also stated that Warsaw would send 14 Leopard tanks to Ukraine in the coming weeks.
