The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia on Tuesday, August 30, denied information that the former SBU General Andriy Naumova plan to publish Russia. On June 8, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia reported that a citizen of Ukraine and a German citizen suspected of laundering was detained at the border with Northern Macedonia. When inspecting their car, police found more than 600,000 euros, about $ 125,000 and two emeralds worth about 6500 euros. According to journalists, it is about Naumova and German citizen Alexander Akst, who in Ukraine is included in the sanctions lists as a smuggler.

Later, Serbia President Alexander Vuchich confirmed that he has information about Naumov's detention. According to the scheme, Andriy Naumov began to work in the SBU after Ivan Bakanov headed it in 2019, and managed the direction of internal security of the special service. According to the schemes, Naumov, accompanied by several people, left Ukraine on February 23, and in March, searches in the case of the State Council were carried out at his address.
