Neptune will get everywhere: the Navy explained why the Fleet of the Russian Federation is not hidden in Novorossiysk

Now Ukrainian engineers are working to increase the radius of Neptune missiles and set them on both maritime and terrestrial objects, says the veteran of the Ukrainian Navy Andriy Ryzhenko. Even having relocated a third of their Black Sea Fleet to Novorossiysk and Abkhazia, the invaders will not be able to guarantee its safety, because everyone remembers the example of "Olenegorsky Gornyak", which was attacked by the Navy of Ukraine in August this year in Novorossiysk.

This opinion was expressed in an interview with focus by the captain of the first rank of the Ukrainian Navy Andriy Ryzhenko. Ukraine has effective missile remedies to destroy targets at such a distance, although, indeed, the distance between ports in Crimea and ports in Novorossiysk or Abkhazia is quite important. Successful rocket strokes in Sevastopol make the occupiers draw their new ships with "calibers" as far away from the Crimea, says the reserve captain.

According to the expert, work is now being done on the modification of the Ukrainian Neptune missile, which was signed by the flagship of Moscow so that it can fly more than 300 km and even more accurately impress the goals.

In addition, a specialist notes, it is necessary to make small changes in the electrochnid, namely in the head of self -introduction, and then the ammunition is not given to the contrasting target, which the ship acts against the background of water, but will be able to "see" and important objects on the shore and destroy their. I think that it is quite realistic to modernize Neptune so that he can overcome the distance of 400-450 km,-says Andrey Ryzhenko.

- It would be a significant help in the fight against the ships of the Russian Navy and to destroy important objects of hostile infrastructure on the shore. Currently, such Su-24 planes are used for such blows to launch Western Storm Shadow and SCalp missiles, but with the modernization of Neptustics, the shots can be made directly from the shore. As for hostile submarines, Ukraine now has no weapon to hunt them, but this is not a priority task, the military says.

The maximum number of rocket strokes in our territory comes from rocket ships, not submarine. However, there are now technologies that allow you to make pitfalls to destroy similar goals. According to the expert, Ukrainian engineers will be able to use the experience of counteracting the submarines with the help of torpedoes discharged from rocket carriers or ships, and do something similar to the underwater drone with self -alienation.
