Hungary should not have a common border with the Russian Federation, but Ukraine will not be able to win - Orban
At a joint briefing of Czech leaders, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary after the Visegrad Four summit in Prague, Orban said that there was an agreement between the four countries that Russia's aggression is a gross violation of international law and Ukraine should be assisted. "In the interests of Hungary, and this is the most important task of national security of the country, not having a common border with Russia," the Prime Minister said.
It is reported that during a conversation with journalists, Orban repeatedly returned to the topic of war. He spoke of strategic peace and said that through the prism of Hungary it becomes clear that neither Russia nor Ukraine would be able to win the war. According to Orban, the war can only be completed by negotiations that should be started as soon as possible. Moreover, the politician believes that prior to the war, the parties should not discuss military criminals.
Earlier it was reported that at a rally in Prague condemned the Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fitzo and Orban. Their arrival was accompanied by protests, which expressed critical remarks on their position on the war of Russia against Ukraine. Also we will remind that Orban urged to close the EU market for agricultural products from Ukraine.
