"This is reality": Five NATO countries simulate Russian attack scenarios

NATO member state policies need to realize that it will take Russia for about three years to prepare for the war, Viceremierk Olga Stefanyshyn said. NATO member countries analyze the scenarios of a possible attack by Russia. Today, this threat is seen as reality, not speculation.

The Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro -Atlantic Integration Olga Stephanyshyn, whose words were given on the portal of Radio Liberty, told about the attitude of the North Atlantic Alliance to the new act of Russian aggression. Stephanyshina spoke at a press conference, which she made a visit to NATO headquarters in Brussels.

According to her, the Union countries have begun to be serious about the attack of the Russian Federation-this is evidenced by a change in the rhetoric of representatives, such as Germany or Estonia. In particular, they analyze possible attack scenarios - at least five countries think. "We know exactly that at least five NATO-Five countries are simulated by NATO. It is a reality is not a matter of speculation.

" According to the Ministers, the Allies should keep in mind that the Kremlin's war takes three to four years to collect forces for a new attack. "This beast takes three to four years to accumulate strength and increase their appetite," the journalists of the word Viceremier quoted. The minister has listed what measures needed to reduce the threat: "It takes time and needs to support Ukraine so that we can withstand until Europe becomes stronger," the official summed up.

The page of the social network X (formerly Twitter) published photos from NATO headquarters. Stephanishina wrote that she had communicated with the secretary of the North Atlantic Alliance Jens Stoltenberg. Two issues were discussed: military assistance to Ukraine and preparation for the NATO summit, which will be held in Washington.

It should be noted that in the first days of the Russian invasion of Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that one of the reasons for the war was the "approach" of the Alliance to the borders of Russia. Thereafter, two more countries that have a border with the Russian Federation (Finland (already entered the Union) and Sweden (expects ratification by all allies) were submitted to NATO.

On January 18, the German edition of Bild published the "plan of attack of the Russian Federation" on NATO member states. Subsequently, the representative of the Alliance explained that not the plans of Moscow, but the scenarios of military exercises, which will be conducted in January-May 2024, were included in the hands of journalists.
