On February 24, 2022 it might not be. Why the army should fight threats from the future

In some places in the world, fiction writers and other predictions of the future are already seriously working on defense. The analyst Anatoly Amelin suggests that such a unit in the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces would help Ukraine avoid many problems. Do you think is the imagination of our national security forces and working with an indefinite future? You still remember the story with Kyivstar, which 12. 12. 23 "laid" or horde hackers, or internal saboteurs who work for Russian shareholders.

It was almost a collapse for economics and Ukrainians. Kyivstar is the largest operator with a market fraction of 50%: and just three weeks before this event, on 20. 11. 23, the interesting movie "Left Behind" with Julia Roberts was released on Netflix. The peculiarity of the plot is a certain event that leads to the fact that it is displayed: nothing reminds?;) Eventually: this is a classic catastrophe movie that we have survived in a very easy version a week ago.

Could you really expect such a scenario? Probably, the Americans would not answer. But Ukrainians know the right answer!;) The movie was written according to the book of the same name of my peer, American writer Rumaan Alam, which was published in 2020. It would seem a regular book, a regular movie, but . . . I have repeatedly written about this part of the work of Western special services.

After the September 11 terrorist attacks, the Pentagon appealed to Hollywood cinematographers on non -standard ideas about the further potential of the scenarios of destruction and military threats (!) (!) In another example, science fiction was not just used by the government for advisory purposes, but in fact formed political initiatives.

In 2018, Donald Trump announced the plan of his administration for launching a new, sixth kind of US Armed Forces, space forces designed to establish American dominance in the region, which, according to President Trump, will become the main field of battle in future wars. Canadians are not far behind. Charles Schroeder, for example, was hired by the Canadian Army in 2005 to write a "dramatic military scenario".

The result was a book called "Crisis in Rephras", the action of which takes place in an imaginary African city-state in about 2025 and in which the focus is on the problems that Canadian peacekeeping forces may face. Which you will encounter in the fight against the rebels in the urban war zone equipped with drones, mobile phones and access to the Internet. In 2019, the French army created a "red team" of fiction writers to help military strategists to predict future threats to national security.

They will try to predict how terrorist groups or hostile states can use advanced technologies against France. Let us return to our favorite Ukraine. You know that the future is not due, its scenarios are many, but with the future you can and should work? And it is not only about attack and harm to the enemy, but also in the analysis of all possible scenarios of the enemy's actions to us.

Even at the beginning of my business in business, I learned, preparing for each negotiation, to work out possible scenarios of events and sought the optimal format for all parties, taking into account the interests of the parties. Record - 20 minutes of negotiations in a difficult agreement on the settlement of corporate conflict that ended with a handshake.

Question to us: - Is it not time for us to create such "forces of special operations" that are able to work with the future, designing possible threats from the enemy and programming scenarios of operations of destruction? Otherwise, we would not avoid regular problems: if we had an examination of work with the future, maybe 24,02. 22 and would not happen? The author expresses a personal opinion that may not coincide with the editorial position.
