"Disassembled by points": the combat medical officer explained why the Commander of the Armed Forces Medical Assistance is not right

Paramedic Maria Nazarova noted that the command of the medical forces did not participate in the modernization of assistance to the wounded soldiers of the Armed Forces. At the same time he rejects the experience of the US Army to save life. The statement of the new commander of the medical forces (CMS) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Anatoly Kazmirchuk on 100 % availability of turnstiles in a certain sense is true. However, it may be about old Soviet norms and is not about quality.

What kind of remarks doctors have to do with the help of the wounded in the post of military physician Maria Nazarova on Facebook. The medicine substantiated her position on the availability of turnstiles in the Armed Forces and the need for blood transfusions. After that, she noted that these problems are solved by a number of organs - in the Ministry of Defense, in the Ministry of Health and others. However, she does not see the body whose duty is - the medical forces of the Armed Forces.

The presence of turnstiles at the level of 100%, Nazarova said, is really possible if you rely on old Soviet instructions or outdated orders of the Ministry of Defense. These instructions indicated that the combat physician should have, for example, "gauze bandage and a needle with a needle. " However, nothing was said about the quality of medicines that need to be rescued by the Armed Forces during injuries.

In particular, they do not mention what they use now and what they buy for volunteer money - "node turnstiles, intraosseous access. " "I will remind, soon 10 years of war, we still have no document, what a good turnstile is, not to mention another," the military wrote. Blood transfusion, which is proposed by a new medical commander, is based on the experience of real fighting and the experience of US fighters who fought in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, the official remembers his unsuccessful experience and advises to refuse. However, Nazarov indicates that treatment protocols cannot be built on personal experience. "Personal experience cannot be the basis for all -military treatment protocols," the post says. As a result, Nazarova noted that she saw some work of other ministries and departments who are trying to modernize medical assistance to the Armed Forces fighters on the battlefield.

However, she does not see the activities of the CMS in this direction. It should be noted that on November 19 instead of the previous manager of the medical forces Tatiana Osnashchenko, Anatoliy Kazmirchuk took the position. Shortly thereafter, the official met with military doctors and public activists to communicate on improving the assistance of wounded Ukrainian soldiers. Maria Nazarova shared her impressions of the meeting.

The military published a post that quoted Kazmirchuk's opinion on the 100-detachable assistance of turnstiles and the needlessness of blood transfusion. Meanwhile, activists raised the issue of turnstiles earlier. For example, in October 2023, a veteran of the Armed Forces Oleg Simoroz spoke about it. In conversation with journalists, he explained that "poor quality turnstiles is evil.
