An exhibition of articles created by contemporary artists on fragments of weapons and equipment of the Russian Federation started in the Ukrainian capital. All artifacts were collected and brought by volunteers from the cities of Ukraine, after massive shelling of the Russian army. The War Artists Union project is designed to remind that art can turn the murder tools into symbols of a new life. Focus journalist visited the opening.

The first guests who evaluated the articles of the collection were Vladimir Ostapchuk, Semen Gorov, Olympia Whitemustash, Yana Pomazan, Oleg Pinchuk Exposition of the War Artists Union art collection has more than 20 articles. Among them, a collection of decorations of brass gills, collected by volunteers near Izium, from the famous jeweler and sculptor Vladimir Baliberin, whose works are stored in the Museum of Historical Vacations of the National Historical Museum of Ukraine.

The collection also includes furniture from the remains of Ivan Stetsyuk's military guns, sculptures of Roman Veligursky and sculpture from Sergei Demchenko's armed scrap. "Ukraine will never be the way, but even from the mutilated debris, Ukrainians are able to create the beautiful," says Svetlana Bilyk, founder of the War Artists Union. " . And art itself should reflect this transformation, demonstrate the world new Ukraine and form a new image of the country.
