Ukraine has reached parity in the counter -battery struggle against Russia - the brigade General of the Armed Forces

According to the Armed Forces Commander Sergey Baranov, artillery, transferred to Ukraine by NATO countries, exceeds Soviet systems by range. The forces of Ukraine's defense have reached parity in the counter -bank struggle against the armed forces of the Russian Federation. This was stated by Brigade General, Head of Main Directorate of Missile Forces and Artillery and Unmanned Systems of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Sergey Baranov in an interview with "Ukrainian Radio" on August 30.

According to the Ukrainian military commander, the parity in the counter -battery struggle against the Russian invaders has become possible primarily due to the fact that the artillery transferred to Ukraine by NATO countries has a greater firing range. Sergey Baranov noted that Western systems allow the enemy to hit the enemy at a distance of 30-40 kilometers, while the Soviet have an average range up to 24 kilometers.

"It gave us the opportunity to destroy the enemy's guns or damage them, as well as to push the enemy artillery from the front line and not to allow the counter -battery struggle against our artillery and to influence our infantry," the brigade general summed up. Sergiy Baranov also mentioned that the President made a decision to increase the production of Bogdan's CAU.

"It is very nice because it is modern, reliable, capable of improving, and we can improve its fire and shunting opportunities," the officer said. We will remind, on July 17 the military observer of the portal War Zone Stetson Payne stated that while Ukrainian troops try to break through Russian defense borders, artillerymen "play in a long" for the future artillery advantage.
