According to journalists, the President of Egypt Abdul-Fattta As-Sisi has decided to return the engines for Russian helicopters previously put on Moscow. The reverse supply of 150 engines should start from next month. The Kremlin leadership is trying to negotiate a partial return of arms already delivered to countries such as Pakistan, Egypt, Belarus and Brazil. Last April, a delegation of Russian officials during a visit to Cairo appealed to President Abdul-Fattha As-Sisi to return more than a hundred engines for Russian helicopters needed to continue the war. There are data from three sources. As Sisi has agreed, and the reverse supply of approximately 150 engines should start next month. In 2023, the Russian Federation also tried to buy engines for shock and transport helicopters in Pakistan, Brazil and Belarus.

The Dutch project Oryx, which monitors the loss of Russian equipment, notes that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation lost 132 helicopters. Of these, 102 were destroyed, 28 were damaged, and two more defense forces were captured.
