Response to the aggression of the Russian Federation: Poland begins a military operation to strengthen the Eastern Aurora Air Defense

The operation will include a number of important tasks such as constant airspace monitoring, response to detected violations, and neutralization. On August 1, a new operation under the code name of Wscchodnia Zorza (East Aurora), aimed at strengthening the state air defense system, has begun in Poland. As reported in the operational command of the Polish troops, this event is a response to Russia's aggression against Ukraine, which increased the risk of disruption of Poland's airspace.

It is noted that special attention will be paid to objects that can disrupt Poland's airspace, including drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles that fly at small and short heights. The operation will cover the eastern and northeastern borders of the country, where the risk of such violations is the highest.

The Wschodnia Zorza Operation will include a number of important tasks: the operational command noted that the operation not only responds to current challenges, but is also a long -term investment in Poland's security, but strengthening the air defense system is critical for protecting the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity. We will remind, on July 17, Poland Andrzej Duda said that Russia is the greatest and direct threat to the security of NATO.
