Germany proposes to use NATO air defense systems located on the eastern borders of the Alliance to protect the western regions of Ukraine from Russian unmanned aerial vehicles. Representatives of some German political parties, including the ruling free Democratic Party (VDP) and the Union of 90/Greens, expressed this idea. According to the newspaper, the idea of ​​using NATO air defense systems located in Romania and Poland under the control of NATO forces, for the interception of Russian unmanned aerial vehicles over the western part of Ukraine was offered Nico Lange, expert of the Munich Council on Safety (MSC), and former deputy.
