Budget-2022 change 8 times over the war: what will change now

The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to change the Budget Code and increase the costs of military needs by UAH 387 billion. Again, the State Budget of Ukraine for 2022 wants to make changes again since the beginning of the Great War with Russia. This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of the Verkhovna Rada Yaroslav Zheleznyak. According to him, the Cabinet proposes to increase the military expenses by UAH 387 billion.

"The source of the coverage, as always, is internal borrowing (including" Print ")," Yaroslav Zheleznyak said. The government, in particular, wants to increase the costs of such agencies: in addition, UAH 600 million wants to allocate additional state protection management and UAH 45 million to the external intelligence service. We will remind, on September 13, 2022 the Cabinet of Ministers approved the project of the state budget for 2023.

According to the document, the costs of the defense and security sector will increase 4 times, and 35% of the budget is planned to be allocated to the social sphere. The Verkhovna Rada should now approve the document.
