International Expert Group on Youth Policy Implementation in War has summed up the first results of its work
“The main task of the group was to develop a strategic vision of youth policy in Ukraine in the context of large -scale Russian aggression. First of all, I want to sincerely thank everyone and everyone who has joined this important job.
After all, in the face of countering terrorist acts by the aggressor country, which occurred in particular yesterday, we as a state can form and implement a progressive, relevant, and most importantly - effective youth policy, ” - said the co -chairman Office of the Head of State Alexei Dnipro.
He noted that for almost two months, experts from the United States, Great Britain, Poland, Lithuania, Georgia, Northern Macedonia, Albania and Sweden worked with Ukrainian experts on the development of specific design recommendations within the framework of the reconstruction of our country's youth sector. The prepared document contains four main blocks, each of which is priority and relevant, so it requires urgent implementation.
It is safety, mental health, youth infrastructure and youth participation in the country's public life. “Young people should always be involved in making decisions directly. And I am grateful to our international experts with this condition when developing proposals to a national strategy. We really need large projects to help young people involve in the public life Policy Alexander Sanchenko.
He added that two documents were formed thanks to this work: analysis of the current situation and review of the status quo of youth policy in Ukraine, as well as a strategy for the implementation of youth policy in war and post-war reconstruction.
“I would also like to point out that the individual projects that are currently being implemented and contained in the reconstruction plan are already fully or partially answered to the questions raised during the meetings and are made to the text of the final document.
This is, for example, the "Available Mortgage" program, a platform for the combination of volunteer and state initiatives "Cooled", as well as the program of the first lady of Ukraine Elena Zelenskaya on preservation and restoration of mental health, " - said Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Marina. Papapenko.
