I wish you health, dear Ukrainians! First of all, today we have something to thank our air defense for: good results, there were downings - more than 30 Russian missiles were shot down. Most of them went specifically to the energy sector, it was really possible to protect very important objects. As for the "shaheeds", there are also results.

Every night - that's right, every night - when there is enough ammunition in our air defense, when partners do what we agree on, we have the possibility of exactly these results and defeats. During these weeks, the Air Force of the Armed Forces began to work better - some things managed to be rebuilt in the system, specifically in the organization of defense against such massive strikes.

I want to thank the command, I thank the Minister of Energy, I thank the Minister of Defense, everyone involved both at the central government level and in the regions to make the sky defense system work. Today, I signed a decree on awarding state awards to our military personnel, who protect the sky. I want to thank all of you: Army Air Forces, Air Defense Forces, Mobile Fire Teams, everyone involved.

I have already spoken several times today with Rustem Umerov, David Arahamia and with the representatives of the President of the United States of America, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, based on the results of their meetings today. There is already more readiness for the next three-way format. Most likely, the next meeting will be in the Emirates, it will be in Abu Dhabi. We expect the format to be in early March.

It is necessary to finalize everything that has been achieved for real security guarantees and prepare a meeting at the level of leaders. This format can solve a lot. After all, the leaders decide the key issues, and when it comes to Russia, about such a personalist regime, it is much more than in other countries. The war must be ended - this is our position, this is the position of Ukraine, this is the position of all our partners.

But, unfortunately, everyone can now see that Russia is not ready for peace, and there is no sign that Putin is stopping his war machine either. On the contrary, he is preparing to continue fighting, and the world must be ready to put pressure on Russia so that this changes. The recipe is clear to everyone in the world. Russia will stop the war even by itself, at its own will, when the world finally stops Russian oil, other Russian energy resources and Russian banks. This is absolutely real.

The sanctions of the world should work for this - for real lasting peace. Of course, both with America and with Europe, we are discussing each of the formats of pressure, formats of diplomacy that can really work. It is very important that the partners continue to be sufficiently determined. I gave the following directives to the team today - what we need to achieve. One more thing.

We discussed in detail with the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyridenko the preparation of our energy recovery strategy and renewed energy protection for the coming winter. We will finalize the strategy on March 1 and approve it after that.

So that the European Commission, and European countries, and America, and global business, and Ukrainian companies that have the appropriate strength - so that everyone can join and work together with us, together with our people for greater stability and greater opportunities for the next winter. Of course, for the time this year, when Russian strikes can continue to hit our infrastructure, our cities.
