Local authorities have declared the allegedly knocking down of two unmanned aerial vehicles. The governor of Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov in Telegram has informed about it.

"Our air defense system has worked in Yakovlovsk City District - 2 aircraft -type UAVs were shot down," Vyacheslav Gladkov said. He noted that no one was injured as a result of the incident. However, fragments of one of the drones fell on the roadway near a private dwelling house. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation confirmed the attack of two drones and accused Ukraine.

"The attempt of the Kiev regime has stopped carrying out a terrorist attack of aircraft type on objects in the territory of the Russian Federation," the message said. The local Telegram-channel noted that the sounds of explosions were also heard in the area of ​​the city of the city of Stroitel of Belgorod region. There were at least two powerful explosions.

However, according to local authorities, the drone was shot down by air defense forces. On September 7, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobiangin said that the drone attacked the Moscow region. According to him, the drone was destroyed by air defense in the Ramensky City District.
