Banks to Knead: The Russian military complain that they are denied credit holidays
Viewers say that according to lawyers, banks use shortcomings in the legislation and refuse borrowers in credit holidays for quite formal reasons. Because of this, in November, clients from partially mobilized began to complain about bankers not only because of refusals, but also because of errors in credit holidays. The material provides an example of two customers. One of them tried to issue credit vacations on his mobilized father, but on the hot line they did not even start talking to him.
The other client's credit holidays were approved, but the bank refused to change the payment schedule. At the same time, representatives of banks as arguments of their actions speak of "technical malfunctions". Thus, in the Russian VTB stated that some of the clients of 7 thousand who applied were faced with difficulties allegedly for technical reasons. And in the MTS Bank, they were caught from the problem, stating that they needed time "to refine the technical settings".
The situation was commented by the lawyer with the Law "Position of Law" Yegor Radin. According to him, banks are obliged to provide credit vacations mobilized on the basis of the documents provided. And if the package of documents is collected in full, the bank may clarify the status of the borrower in the tax service of the Russian Federation. "It is not necessary to notarized the mobilized," Radin said to file a bank for crediting a credit vacation.
According to a private lawyer Gusel Zhubanova, Russian bankers are so behaved because there are problems of providing borrowers with the necessary data from the fighting areas. In other words, banks doubt the status of borrowing citizens if the customer is not enough. At the same time, lawyers emphasize that credit holidays for mobilized are not amnesty and not a free period. Debts will still have to be paid.
