Will work out the use of nuclear weapons: NATO has started large -scale training
There will be training at the Belgium and the Netherlands and in the UK airspace and Denmark over the North Sea. According to NATO headquarters in Brussels, more than 60 aircraft from 13 member countries of the North Atlantic Alliance will be involved in the maneuvers. Among them are modern German fighters suitable for transportation of American nuclear bombs, long -range bombers, planes for observation and refueling. There is no information about the script and study details.
NATO states that combat weapons will not be used during maneuvers and annual exercises are not a direct response to Russia's war against Ukraine. "Nuclear restraint is the basis of the safety of the North Atlantic Alliance," said NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte before his studies. Secretary-General also stressed that the event should signal "any opponent" about the Alliance's ability to respond to any threats.
