"Full Recovery": The Russian Federation told how wounded soldiers grow limbs

According to doctors, special implants allow you to re -grow lost bone fragments and quickly send the military back to the front. The Russians say they have invented an innovative technology for the restoration of the limb of soldiers after serious injuries received in Ukraine. About it writes the agency "RIA Novosti", referring to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The Office claims that doctors from the Main Military Clinical Hospital named after Moscow have been developed and already used in practice the innovative method of 3D modeling of implants that replace damaged areas of bones and even joints. They allowed several soldiers to completely restore their arms and legs to return to the war in Ukraine.

For a person who has received a severe limb injury due to the fall of the ball or explosion of the mines, an individual implant is made three -dimensional from titanium, which in shape and size corresponds to the lost fragment of the bone. It is inserted into the site of the wound and then filled with bone tissue taken from other bones of the patient, transplanted or grown by means of stem cells. Doctors then reproduce the muscles and skin, returning the functionality of the damaged arm or leg.

"As a result of surgery, the bone is actually resulted in," doctors say. According to the Ministry of Defense, one of the participants of the experiment lost part of the large tibia, without which it is impossible to walk. After implantation surgery, he quickly recovered and wished to go to the front again, although usually such injuries lead to limb amputation. The deputy head of the hospital for research work, Leonid Brizhan, emphasized that no one is doing such operations in addition to them.

According to him, the new method is now actively used in the Burdenko hospital, and in the near future it will be able to borrow many other medical institutions in the Russian Federation. Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree that allows you to mobilize even wounded. According to the document, people who are recognized by doctors are unusable to the army if they want to continue their contract service.
