Urban studies and consequences of war. The Kiev School of Economics has opened a new master's program

The Master's Program for Urban Development will consider topical issues of inequality and inclusivity in the new villages and cities of Ukraine, which will be relocated, reported in KSE.

At the same time, this program is aimed at solving new problems and inequalities in those communities that have accepted internally displaced persons. Within the framework of the Master's Program, international experience in the field of post -war reconstruction will be studied, which is important for the reconstruction of Ukraine. It is noted that the curriculum will give a deep understanding of local institutional, economic and social realities.

The course combines three approaches: economic, sociological and financial. Master's graduates will be able to implement projects for the development of settlements destroyed by war and further sustainable development of regions, which are intense pressure after internal movement of business and people.

The compulsory subjects of the program include: - urban planning - real estate development and legal aspects - construction technology - finance and real estate valuation - the principles of urban economy - the science of data of real estate markets, etc. - Webscraping and analysis - real estate asset management - commercial leasing - affordable housing - digital real estate, etc. The master's program is designed for 16 months and will be taught in English.
