The Russian Federation made Western leaders with loud statements about Ukraine. Russia continues to use the UN Security Council to promote its false narratives. This is stated in the report of the Institute of War Study (ISW) for January 22. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov spoke at a meeting of the UN Security Council on January 22.

The main theses of Lavrov, who identified analysts: analysts emphasized that the Kremlin's official representatives, including the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, constantly expressed a threatening rhetoric "Against NATO. Lavrov also accused the Armed Forces in the task of blowing in temporarily occupied territories. ISW noted that he recently claimed an attack by Western weapons on civilian sites in Donetsk.

Other Russian sources have promoted similar narratives, but foreign journalists could not independently confirm these statements. At the same time, Ukraine was denied such shelling. Analysts also identified the attempts of Lavrov to reduce the military crimes of Russian invaders. He stated that Russians and Ukrainians "live in peace and harmony" in captured territories. According to him, peoples will live as "brothers and good neighbors" when the Kremlin reaches its goals in the war.

The institute emphasized that it was a complete surrender of Ukraine and the West. "Isw regularly documented how Russian troops and occupation administrations participated in large -scale and deliberate campaigns of ethnic cleaning; forcibly and illegally exported Ukrainians to Russia, including children; and work systematically to eliminate Ukrainian, culture, history and ethnicity , occupied by Russian troops, "the report reads.

Analysts recalled that, in their opinion, Russia wants to strengthen its position in the UN and benefit from being in the Radbeza. ISW suggested that the purpose of the aggressor country was to legitimize their narratives and advance them on the world stage, as well as to persuade other countries to end their military assistance to Ukraine.
