The Ukrainian Army received all the promised MiG-29 fighters from Slovakia
Defense Minister Yaroslav Naga said that the planes were passed down terrestically, which was a complex but important logistics operation. Slovakia handed over all 13 promised MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine. The last batch of 9 aircraft was successfully handed over to Ukrainian pilots. The head of the Ministry of Defense Yaroslav Nadya thanked all involved, because the delivery process was difficult logistically, but important for Ukraine. Nadi also added that the MiG-29 is a significant support for Ukraine in its protection against Russian military aggression, they will allow to preserve human lives. "Moreover, unlike our neighbor, these planes were unusable. We do the right things," the Minister of Defense summed up.
