During the meeting, they also discussed the strengthening of sanctions policy and approval of the next package of sanctions in the near future.
“There is already the work of individual countries - sanctions against the Russian shadow fleet of tankers. This should be supported at the level of the EU. It is the tanker fleet that provides Putin with the largest share of income for the war, ”Volodymyr Zelenskyy said. Separately, the Head of State thanked all partners who support Ukraine for joining the European Union and receiving an invitation to NATO.
“Both in December and next year we have to do as much as possible to move in negotiations with the EU. This is absolutely real - to open the first two negotiating clusters early next year and the rest of the negotiating clusters - during the year.
