What a rocket can Ukraine get 300 km away and with a 100 kg warhead from the US
According to Miroslav Gongadze, who heads the Voice of America in Eastern Europe, the United States will transfer new missiles to Ukraine with a range of 300 km. The combat part will be 100 kg. The information was reported in the General Staff. In turn, experts point out that the combination of 300 kg and 100 kg of the combat part is quite atypical. Usually, with this range, the warhead is more powerful.
In particular, at the Ballistic missile, the mass of the combat part in the M57 version is 227 kg with fragmentation. The United States has officially announced the supply of GLSDB missiles, which has a 100-pound combat part, but its range is twice less-150 km. Glsdb is based on the GBU-39 planning bomb. The authors then point out that the range and warhead resembles a air base rocket. For example, the Aargm-ER rocket has a range of 300 km and the WAU-7/B combat part of 70 kg.
It is a deeply modernized AGM-88 HARM missile. The development is universal, so it can affect not only the radar but also marine moving goals. However, the main problem is that the Aargm-ER is in the test stage, but has already been put up for sale. In particular, Finland has already ordered promising ammunition. As a result, experts do not exclude that the United States can create a completely new weapon for Ukraine.
