Kirill Tymoshenko discussed with the head of UNICEF representation urgent issues of supporting Ukrainians during the war

The deputy head of the office of President Kirill Tymoshenko met with the chairman of the UNICEF representation in Ukraine Murat Shahin. The parties discussed the preparation of schools for Ukrainian children in war and coordinated appropriate work.

Murat Shahin recalled that within the framework of the initiative "jointly to study", launched by the Ministry of Education and Science in cooperation with UNICEF in Ukraine and the first lady of Elena Zelenskaya to support the educational process in the current academic year, a thousand support schools will receive $ 3 million. US on appropriate needs.

In addition, Kirill Tymoshenko told about the plans of power to organize in the country heating points for the winter, where people could stay at a time when their homes can be left without heating and electricity. These points will have generators, drinking water and food, online bonds. According to the deputy head of the Presidential Office, this will require about 17,000 generators.

"We want to equip these heating points on the basis of schools and kindergartens in large cities and in administrative buildings in rural areas," he said. Kirill Tymoshenko noted that Ukraine will welcome help in the implementation of this project by international organizations.
