Today, a rather predictable statement was made from Russia - a statement that they finally disrupt the export grain initiative. But in reality, this is not their decision. Russia began to consciously exacerbate the food crisis in September - when it blocked the movement of ships with our food. From September to this day, 176 vessels have accumulated in the grain corridor that cannot pass on their route. Some grain trucks have been waiting for more than three weeks.

This is a completely conscious blockade of Russia. It is a completely transparent intention to regain the threat of large -scale famine to Africa, for Asia. Literally, more than 2 million tons of food are in the sea. This means that for more than 7 million consumers has actually deteriorated food access. Algeria, Egypt, Yemen, Bangladesh, Vietnam, others - very different countries, from different parts of the world . . . But they can all be destabilized because of this Russian decision to block exports.

I emphasize that this decision was obviously made by Russia in September. Only this can be evidenced by this turn from ships with food in the sea. It is also important that at least twice during the grain initiative, Russia has struck our Navy. Just by the forces that guarantee the safety of the grain corridor. A rigid international reaction is now needed. Both at the UN level and at other levels. In particular, at the level of the Great Twenty.

How can Russia be among others in G20 if it consciously works on a few continents? This is nonsense. Russia is not a place in the twenty. All partners see this artificial queue. They see what Russia was doing to break the grain initiative. They see that even grain vessels that are regulated within the UN Food Program for the poorest countries do not receive a guaranteed possibility of passing the maritime route.

Russia does everything to Millions of Africans, millions of inhabitants of the Middle East and South Asia are in the face of artificial famine or at least a rigid price crisis. But why is this a bunch of people somewhere in the Kremlin whether food on tables in people in Egypt or Bangladesh? What it is? The world has power to protect people from it. Ukraine was and may continue to be one of the guarantors of global food security. Russian terror and blackmail have to lose. Humanity must win.
