In Rome with the participation of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, a meeting of the leaders of the states belonging to the coalition of those and international organizations took place. The event brought together representatives of 32 countries. The meeting was also attended by American senators Lindsey Graham and Richard Blumental, Special Representative of the US President for Ukraine Kit Kellog.

The head of the Ukrainian state thanked all those present personally and online for participation, George Meloni-for the organization and separately noted that for the first time at the meeting in this format there were representatives of the United States. “Thank you to Trump President. Its signals are very, very important, and we count on them. I am sure that in the future we will develop a coalition of those who want, and it is important, ”Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

During the meeting, they discussed the possibility of buying a weapon for life, financing the defense forces of Ukraine, increasing investments for weapons production, including drones. “It was very substantive today with the question of funding for drones. Drones-interceptors and everything you need for long-range blows is an obvious priority, ”the President emphasized.

UK Prime Minister Kir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron, who joined online from London, reported the results of discussing plans for the deployment of international support forces in Ukraine after termination of hostilities. Cyrus Starmer and Emmanuel Macron condemned Russian shelling of Ukrainian cities.

The Russian Federation does not demonstrate readiness to stop aggression, so the coalition should contribute to peace through support of Ukraine and further pressure on Moscow, including sanctions. George Meloni stressed that it is important to combine the efforts of the coalition of willing and the United States to achieve a just and sustainable peace for Ukraine. Italy's Prime Minister is convinced that the restraint of Russia and the pressure on it will be facilitated by the war.
