The Russian Federation has declared a test of the latest laser weapon against UAV: ​​what is known

To spread: in the Russian Federation tested laser systems of counteraction to unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) at one of the specialized landfills. The test was organized by the MIC and the Ministry of Pumasoned by the Russian Federation with the participation of companies belonging to the State Corporation of Rostekh and the organizations of the State Corporation "Rosatom". In the future, these weapons will supplement the Russian Federation, the Russian government says.

It is reported that the tests were held in conditions close to the real ones. They checked the accuracy of the guidance, the range of lesions, the speed of the reaction of systems to moving air purposes, as well as their work in different weather conditions. According to the Russians, in total, eight complexes were tested to combat drones of different power. Weapons worked out UAVs of different types - from small commercial drones to more complex devices that mimic reconnaissance and shock UAVs.

"The tests have confirmed the characteristics stated by the manufacturers, the correctness of the selected areas of development of complex defense systems for critical infrastructure against UAVs. Their results will be used to refine the available samples and create systems capable of providing reliable protection against modern air assaults," the Russian Federation said.
