"Civil War and Russians in the Donbass": In Hungary, an anti -Ukrainian textbook was released (photo)

The authors from the State Center ofi are called Uzhgorod, Mukachevo and Khust "Hungarian cities" and claim that the war in Ukraine began through the language and status of Crimea. Hungarian authorities should correct false information about Ukraine, which is outlined in a school textbook on geography. This was stated by a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oleg Nikolenko.

In particular, the OFI State Center has developed a geography textbook for 8th grade for compulsory study, which contains anti-Ukrainian propaganda. The authors made mistakes not only in geographical, but also in political. For example, a mandatory textbook tells the children that the Carpathians are the only mountains in Ukraine, at the foot of which are "Hungarian cities Ungvar (Uzhgorod), Munkach (Mukachevo) and Khust".

Moreover, the State Center ofi claims that the civil war is ongoing in our country, and the Russian population is dominated in occupied Crimea. "In densely populated Ukraine, the distribution of nationalities is very uneven. Most are Ukrainians, but there is a significant proportion of Russians in the east of the country, and they make up the majority in the Crimea. Two Eastern Slavic languages (Russian and Ukrainian) are similar.

In Russian -speaking areas of the country, 1/5 of the population speaks in a mixed Russian-Ukrainian language. Nevertheless, two ethnic groups are often at odds with each other. These ethnic groups have provoked an armed conflict through Crimea, "-said in a textbook that is obligatory for study. It is also said that the population of Ukraine is declining rapidly due to low standard of living and emigration.

However, the authors of the textbook from the State Center ofi are silent that in our country there is a full -scale war, which was unleashed by Russia. "The health of the population leaves much to be desired, life expectancy is almost the lowest on the continent . . . The general economic situation in the country is not favorable for the Hungarians, and the Carpathians are one of the most backward regions," the 8th grade textbook said.

The article dedicated to our country was supplemented by the propaganda picture, at which Ukraine is torn by the Russian bear and men in the symbolism of the US and the European Union. "To whom Ukraine should belong?" - The authors of the propaganda picture in the textbook were signed. The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oleg Nikolenko reacted to the presentation of the textbook for 8th grades and called on Hungary authorities to remove anti-Ukrainian and false information from him.

"Yesterday, Ukrainian diplomats met in the Hungarian foreign policy, during which they emphasized the inadmissibility of the presentation of false and distorted facts about Ukraine. We demand that the wrong information in the textbook was required as soon as possible," Nikolenko added, commenting on the presentation of the school textbook. It is worth noting that earlier Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban called on the EU countries to stop the supply of weapons to Ukraine.
