Stability is what Ukrainians now need. How not to lose faith in the midst of war

Stability, says psychologist Svetlana Chuninin, is a thread that holds the whole world. And this quality is especially important now, in the midst of war, when the belief in justice is strongly blown up. In February 2022, most of us had no doubt that Ukraine would win this war. This faith was as absurd - given the immutable imprisonment at the time - so indestructible.

What else? Can it be so that the victory will get the forces of evil? Can the initiator of a meaningless, unauthorized, cruel aggression remain unpunished, and worse to triumph? The world simply cannot allow such outrage! In October 2023, the number of practical evidence that belief in the just world is just a cognitive distortion, no more than that, ”the pain threshold greatly exceeded. The world is obviously unfair. Moreover, he is seriously injured.

And here we stand near the split wound of the world, and we have not so many supports left to stay on the edge. It is not so solidarity with each other and united around power (Rally 'Round The Flag cannot last endlessly). We are not so strong that this war is for freedom and dignity. All our values are lost in the fog fatigue and grief. We can not always quickly navigate who we are enemy, who is a friend.

The supports of our stability, which seemed inviolable, turned out to be brittle or illusory. In fact, stability is what starts now. What is held on a thin thread that connects each of us with this world, so imperfect, wounded and unfair. Now stability is a challenge that you have to meet alone than to share with someone. Knowing that nothing is solved or guaranteed - neither morality, law, nor even cursed law. In fact, the only thing we can be 100% sure of today is that a person is suddenly mortal.

All that concerns life is hz, how it will be. I think that all of us have our own thread that stretches from the middle of the heart. For someone it is a love of life. For someone, love for one dearest person. For someone, the instinct of self -preservation. For someone - the love of humanity in general. Any answer here is correct.

All wars begin with the humanization of some people of others, for the invention of the reasons that justify the destruction of entire peoples on how to divide this land with other peoples, more worthy. And they end - repentance, a hangover and a sudden illumination that every life is invaluable, people are equal in the right to live, and the only acceptable frame of existence is humanism. Maybe this war (these wars) will end the same.
