The authors of the material emphasize a few key points that doubt the efficiency and extent of recovery.
First, the repair of the machine with such injuries in such a short time raises the question: such work is usually performed by field repair crews, not the leading plant of the Russian armored industry. This clearly demonstrates possible problems with the production capacity of the plant. Secondly, the very fact that the Russian MIC, instead of using this tank, as a source of spare parts, decided to restore it, also indicates a possible shortage of new machines.
This may indicate insufficient production of tanks to cover the real needs of the Russian army. Analysts also noted that data on the number of tanks manufactured can cover not only the production of new machines, but also restore, modernization, as well as the reconciliation of equipment. For example, it is officially stated that in 2023 the Russian MIC was releasing 2100 tanks, and plans for 2024 and 2025 were 1500 tanks annually.
