"Not to allow NATO": Putin reacted to Stoltenberg's visit to Ukraine (video)

Currently, according to Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin cannot assess the prospect of possible Kiev integration into the North Atlantic Alliance. The prevention of Ukraine's accession to NATO still remains one of the goals of the "special operation" of Russia. On Thursday, March 20, the spokesman of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said, the Russian media reported.

"Otherwise, [NATO's accession to Ukraine] will be a serious significant danger to our country's safety," Peskov said. At the same time, the spokesman added that the Kremlin has no grades in the Kremlin's prospects for Ukraine's accession to NATO in connection with the visit of the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance of Jens Stoltenberg to Kiev.

On April 20, it became known that NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg arrived in Ukraine for the first time from a full -scale invasion of the Russian Federation. He was noticed on Mikhailovskaya Square in the center of Kiev. According to the media, the purpose of the visit of the Secretary General is to demonstrate support for Ukraine before the Armed Forces counter -offensive.

Stoltenberg honored the fallen soldiers and inspected the broken equipment of Russian invaders exhibited in the center of the capital. We will remind that on April 20 the chairman of the Bundestag Committee on Defense Marie-Agness Strak-Zimmermann stated that the troops of European countries will never appear in the territory of Ukraine, and the Ukrainian armed forces will not receive fighter jets of Tornado and Eurofighter Typhoon.
