Zelensky and Putin will meet in August: Trump called the date of the tripartite summit

To spread: US President Donald Trump in conversation with Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky and the heads of European countries stated that he wanted to hold a tripartite meeting with the participation of Ukraine and the Russian Federation on August 22. At the same time, the US leader believes that a significant breakthrough is not worth the "not worth" because of the exhibited conditions by the Kremlin head, AXIOS reports with reference to sources.

Three sources that were known to the conversation reported that during a telephone conversation after Alaska summit, Trump told European leaders that he wanted to organize a tripartite summit with Putin and Zelensky next Friday. At the same time, US leader is concerned about the conditions exhibited by the Russian leader. Because of this, Trump is convinced that a significant breakthrough "will not be achieved".
