Journalists found out how Iran delivered combat drones to Russia

Iran used ships and state airline to ship new drones to the Russian Federation of a distant radius of action to use in the war against Ukraine. The British edition of The Guardian found out how a party of 18 combat drones came from Iran to Russia. From their sources in Tehran, correspondents learned that ships and Iranian state airlines were used to send unmanned vehicles.

It is a party of 18 drones delivered by the Russian Navy after Russian officers and equipment went to Tehran in November, where they were demonstrated by the full range of Iranian technologies. Then the Russian delegation of 10 people chose Mohajer-6 drones (Mohajer-6), which have a flight range of about 200 km and carry two missiles under each wing, as well as 12 Shahad-191 drones (Shahd 191) and "Shahed-129" (Shahed 129), which can carry the missiles of the class "Air-Earth".

Unlike the famous SHahd 131 and 136 drones, which were actively used by Russia in Kamikadze's raids against Ukrainian purposes, these high -flying drones are intended to dump bombs and return to the base. Sources in Iran claim that most drones sent to Russia secretly took away the Iranian ship from the base on the Caspian coast. Then in the sea drones were transferred to the Russian military boat. Other drones were sent by the State Iranian Airline, added sources.

Iran is located on the southern border, and Russia is on the northwestern border of the Caspian Sea, the world's largest inner reservoir, which makes the physical transition between the Union countries relatively simple. Iran also sent technicians to Moscow to help put the drones into operation. The sources reported that only 54 experts from Iran worked in Russia, as each drone had three specialists.

The drones were made at the same military plant in the central city of Isfahan, which was fired on January 28 by Israeli drone. According to the British Research Organization of the Conflict Armament Research, there is evidence that Iran is modifying its drones, which Russia transmits to Russia so that the combat part can cause maximum damage to infrastructure in Ukraine. It is also known that Shahd 129 and Shahd 191 fly on a modified engine, which was originally manufactured in Germany.
