It turned out to be more protracted: the Pentagon was told when the war will end in Ukraine

The Pentagon cannot still give a final forecast when hostilities in Ukraine are completed. The government is called different dates, starting six months and ending with three years. The war in Ukraine can only end in two years. This opinion was expressed by US Army Minister Kristin Warmut, speaking at the Center for Strategic and International Studies on Monday, March 1. "I think the war in Ukraine will end itself next year or two years," Vormut said.

Such a forecast, according to the US Army, is due to the fact that Russia has not yet used a large part of its military-air forces in the Navy, as well as capabilities in the cyber environment. She stressed that the fighting was more prolonged than it could be assumed. "We would be reckless if we did not worry about the poor military capabilities (enemy, ed. )," Vrmut added.

For his part, US Deputy Defense Minister Kol Kol Cal at the hearing in the House of Representatives of Ukraine's military support from the United States said that the war in Ukraine could end in six months or three years later. "This (to predict the time of completion of hostilities in Ukraine - ed. ) Is difficult, because we do not know the exact trajectory of conflict development," Kal said.

At the same time, he expressed her hope for the Congress to finance the Armed Forces technical assistance, even taking into account the pessimistic estimates of the duration of the conflict. Recall that Russia lost more soldiers in Ukraine during the year of the war than in all conflicts after the Second World War. This is stated in the report of the American Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS).
