"Without recognition of occupation": Yermak explained the position of Ukraine and partners on ceasefire

To extend: the position of Ukraine and Western partners on ceasefire conditions is that it is needed, but the front line cannot be a border. It is also necessary to respect the sovereignty of Ukraine, as long peace is possible only with its participation in peace talks, said Presidential Office Head Andriy Ermak. He explained that he had several important meetings with European security advisers, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Kingdom, and US Vice -Cresident Jay Vice.

"The positions were clear: reliable, long -lasting peace is possible only with Ukraine at the negotiating table, with respect for our sovereignty and without recognition of occupation. The ceasefire is necessary. The front line is not the border," Ermak said. According to him, partners support Ukraine not only in words. "Assistance will continue in the military, financial and sanctional plane until the aggression stops," Yermak stressed.
