The Russian Foreign Ministry representative Maria Zakharova spoke with journalists on November 15 about a new package of sanctions and also stated that Ukraine's accession to NATO in any form for the Russian Federation would be "unacceptable", Sky News reports.

Such a statement was preceded by the words of the former NATO Secretary -General, Anders Fog Rasmussen, who proposed to accept Ukraine in the military alliance, at the same time in current circumstances, Ukraine would lose the territory controlled by the Russian Federation, and the British edition of The Guardian wrote about it.

Maria Zakharova, talking about the new one, already on the account of the EU sanctions package against the Russian Federation, noted that restrictions apply to military and IT professionals related to the Russian Federation. The EU Commission also plans to implement additional measures against more than 120 individuals and legal entities for their role in the undermining of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
